A Spoonful of Sugar's Blogiversary Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! It is my friend, Annette's, two year blogiversary and she has a great line-up of papercrafters in her Blogiversary Blog Hop. Won't you come and hop along with us? If you have been hopping along you just came from Melinda Gleissner's blog My Notworthy Cards, where she created a wonderful card to share. She is very talented!

I had no mojo when I sat down to create my card. I really didn't. I had a rough day that day and papercrafting wasn't helping as it usually does. I know this sounds crazy but do you ever see something you like and want to create something kind of like it and it just doesn't come out the way you envisioned? Yep, it was that kind of day! My first one didn't come out like I wanted so I ended up turning to this weeks Mojo Monday sketch to help me get a little of my crafting mojo back. I really like how the card turned out so I decided it would be the card I shared first. I will share the other one next week.

Here is my card:

I used the stamp set Up, Up, & Away from Stampin"up! and 4 of their new In Colors: Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, and Rasberry Ripple.

Here is the sketch:

It is time to keep hopping along! Enjoy Sarah Hamer's card that she created to share with youover at Pink Cricut.

If you had to stop in the middle of the hop and want to pick back up where you left off here is the complete lineup:

  1. This card is fabulous. I love your balloon. (I can relate to the lack of mojo...it certainly happens and fortunately there are tons of places for inspiration.)

  6. I totally get those disappointing times when a card doesn't turn out right. You did a great job though! I should go to sketches when I have no mojo. I love all the different colors for each component.

  14. So Shelly, I'm so glad you stuck it out and worked through your no-mojo moment because this card is wonderful. It would be a joy to receive this. Your color combination is fantastic. I love how the ink on each panel matches its border. And I love your take on the sketch. It was a pleasure hopping with you. I hope it's the first of many.
